Description

This series of nondescript dark and bright nebulae is located in the constellations of Serpens at a declination of +1 degrees.

As most of you know, I enjoy imaging obscure objects.  Many times I am pleasantly surprised at what I find in terms of interesting detail.  Other times I am not.  You never really know since there are few images of obscure objects to consult in advance.

I saw this FOV in the Aladin sky atlas program and thought I would give it a try.  While I find the result to be somewhat interesting, with a smattering of dark nebulae, bright nebulae, and faint Ha emission, it isn’t quite what I had hoped it might be.
